brian kuebler joins us live from orioles park. tons of anxious fans biting their nails over this. >> more and more people are doing the same. i wanted to show you the scene, exphundz soon to be thousands of people are waiting to get settled in to the stadium tonight. buckled up and head on the ride towards the playoffs. first time for young fans and the first time in a while for a lot of older fans, but it's also the first time for the new voice of camden yards, ryan wagner. >> to be able to tell people i'm the voice of orioles park , the place that i grew up spending summers watching baseball and call ripken and mike and jeffrey and all those guys that were my heroes, to now get to announce it at the park, to welcome a new generation of fans, to the greatest ballpark in the country is very special. this has everything to do with

buck and guys on the field to. be in the chair and have a front row seat for the summer has been remarkable. as a baltimore kid this was sort of the ultimate achievement. i grew up and was born in a house that is right in front of the park. being in the press box, there is no cheering in the press box. you are talking to a fan. for me, i get caught up in the emotions of the game just like any fan that's here in the stand. this job is so unique and something i never dreamed in a million years i would be doing. there is only 30 guys and a girl, 29 twice and a girl in major league baseball that do what we get to do everyday. i never lost sight of that. that's something i want to remember everyday. this is an amazing baseball city. this town loves baseball, and we had a rough go the last two

theft. two women are dead and police have yet to locate suspects after a pair of shootings last night in baltimore city. at 9:00 last night, someone shot a passenger in a car, as she sat at the intersection of south agus ta. the woman who has been identified as nana died from a gunshot wound to the head. >> i thank god i wasn't outside and i'm fortunate i'm safe. police in that case are searching for a two-door gray honda, tinted windows and chesapeake bay tags. before that shooting police in cherry hill responded to a woman who had been shot several times. the victim told police she had been driving and picked up a man in the neighborhood who shot her. the victim died, there is no evidence she was operating a licensed cab. this is the man accused of

shooting his 4 yield 4-year- old son and the boy's mother. he faces charge from attempted murder to child abuse. police say ford shot the two wednesday night, the woi was hit in the hip. his moe in the arm. officers searched for ford through the night and arrested him yesterday. a two alarm fire broke out this morning in arundel county. it began around 4:00 in loathian. the fire hit a mobile home park with flames jumping from one house to the other. elderly woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. investigators are still working to determine the cause of fire. cop assume r alert, the fallout from a controversial fill that spabbed anti-american protests in the muslim would could impact your wallet. several of americas largest banks are targeted by hackers

in retaliation. hackers from the middle east common deered computers and they have overwhelmed bank web sites with ectronic traffic. >> this is twice as large as any flood we have ever seen. >> reporter: pnc's site us under attack. customers were taking to facebook. one customer wrote trying to pay bills this is ridiculous. another posted, hopefully it can be up soon, never realized how dependant i am on it. a group of hackers warned the financial industry it was going to attack in retaliation for

the film that sparked outrage in the muslimworld. this is the first time that we know about where a middle eastern entity, perhaps a middle eastern government, has attacked web sites on critical infrastructure in the united states. >> reporter: so far the hackers have not been able to steal any money, or disrupt financial markets. authorities in the race against time to stop them before something worse happens g they can move money around and cause financial chaos. >> reporter: today the u.s. government is actively working to locate and block the massive attack. it appear as covert cyber war is fully engaged. in the case of a stolen puppy, earlier this week a couple walked in to the animal rescue foundation and spent time playing with this guy, mango, several minutes later the couple walked out with mango tucked in a pocket.

someone called the foundation, said they had mango and wanted to return him. the caller wasn't the person who stole him and didn't want the $1000 reward. the foundation says though it's had a bad couple of days they hope good can come of this. >> as horrible as it has been. people found out about our organization and rescues in general. >> another good thing that came out of this, someone donated a security system to the foundation to keep this from happening again. mango will be old enough to be adopted in and out a few weeks. they are going to be standing in line. park school of baltimore knows how to throw a birthday party , the school turned 100 today and students, faculty and alumni gathered to celebrate. they kicked off with an assembly. students and faculty took to the athletic field to spell out park. a drone was sent up to snap a photo of the formation and celebration for the school

the next fact is probably so engraved in your head it does bare repeating. the orioles haven't made the playoffs until 97. we caught up with call ripken and asked what he thinks of the team. he said some thought the o's may have been able to compete for a second new wild card this year. no one thought they would be fighting for the division. today one game behind the yankees. cal says this is exciting and confident team. the city is painfully aware of the 14 year long winning drought, but the players don't know or care about that. it was one of the few topics they were able to discuss with members of the team last night. >> i had a great opportunity to have the orioleses in the box for the ravens game. they are all excited. they are all confident.

in some ways the magic, the new form of orioles magic, anomaly built on strong solid fishing, and miraculous late inning come backs. this group seems to use more players, a different pitching staff. the results are exactly the same. bullpen is excellent. they believe in themselves. >> reporter: confidence can never been under estimated in the game. we asked about how the team would do. he said he is an analyst now and didn't want to say but the smile on his face, were indication. the same types of smiles we are seeing over the ballpark as they start the home series and play their way back to the playoffs. as an aside, this game tonight is september 28th. a year ago, is what many people call probably one of the best nights in all of regular season

complaining about the smart phone. john matarese tells us what has customers concerned. >> reporter: more than 5 million people now have a shiny new iphone 5 and more plan to buy one. now that they have it in their hands, some buyers are complaining about some of its new features. even who got their hands on the new iphone last week was thrilled, bigger, better, faster, thinners who could complain. quite a few people. cnn reports complaints starting with the new aluminum back. the biggest gripe now concerns scratchessen the new aluminum back, replacing the glass on the old iphone. users say car keys scratch it easily and light leaking out around the edges of the screen and lightning connector that won't fit old chargers. part othe problem is it's hard to find an adapter to connect the new phone to old
